  2. There were two generations of Pentium CPUs. The original 60 & 66 Mhz version which ran at 5 volts on socket 4, you presented, The second generation started at 75 & 90 MHz at 3.3 volts on socket 5, all the way to 233 MHz with MMX, did not have the FDIV problem that the original Pentiums did. Also – Fun Fact: These were the last of the CISC processors. Pentium Pro onward are all RISC.

  3. imagine. how they went from a sub mhz processor to processors running over 5 ghz. can you imagine what gaming will be in 30 years? I think we'll have something like 2000 core, 15 ghz processors within 10 years
